postheadericon Sledgehammer's Call Of Duty game shelved

Before the announcement of the call tracking statistics elite subscription service in June, Sledgehammer Games was known to work on a thirdperson, action and adventure in the series. Speaking to Eurogamer, co-founder Michael Condrey found that the complaint was filed at the prototype stage, because the studio wanted to work on Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward. "We're working on for about six months," he said. "We got together a prototype that was quite convincing, and the air very well. [But] the opportunity to work in the greatest thing in the industry with Infinity Ward was an opportunity I could not [run]. "Sledgehammer staff have worked with in the previous games in the series, and to others have confirmed the fans, Condrey described the decision to move to Modern Warfare 3 as "a good marriage of experience in the genus and species of fan desire to work in this franchise."
