postheadericon Former DJ Hero devs reveal new mobile studio

A number of ex-FreeStlyeGames employees have formed a new mobile game development studio called Music In Colour. Headed by former chief FreeStyleGames Chris Lee, is set to release a song Say What? For iPhone on 20 July. A collaboration between the studio, music recording studio and independent production company Reactify Metropolis Group, uses the game is a collection of leaves always cryptic symbols, the lyrics, the players have to correctly identify and tap relating to progress. Four playable debut with tracks from artists Calvin Harris, Scouting for Girls, the Zutons and The Nolans, it is free for download, with additional songs sold via in-app payments of ? 1.19. "The music industry needs to capture a new audience," said CEO Lee Music In Colour, the Guardian. "Instead of making a game, then license the music, which is much more of a partnership.
